Whilst setting off to an unexplored destination, my journey is always a blend of planning and impromptu. I keep the map handy on the GPS, yet I keenly look for the approaching signs too. A few stopovers are planned, yet some more just happen. At times I call it a night to start afresh another day, yet sometimes I drive relentlessly even in the pitch darkness. I am too glad to seek guidance from those traveling on the similar road, yet I always ignore the unsought advisories from those who fear exploring and thus never set their feet out. Sometimes I go full throttle, literally living on the edge, yet at few other times I willingly go slow, maneuvering carefully on the unpaved roads and in unfavorable conditions. I take detours as and when the need arises, sometimes in search for a shortcut, at times consciously taking even a longer road to avoid the traffic. Sometimes the path is as clear as a daylight and sometimes in the utter chaos of nowhere, I trust and follow my instinct, making my own road when there is none.
But at no point do I regret making the plan, or abandon my journey midway.
And I live the same way as I drive...
